Look Mom, no hands!

We've been doing lots of videos lately. I guess because Little Elvis is giving us so much more to work with, and he truly LOVES the camera. No, really, he thinks it looks tasty.

That's a digression. Little Elvis has been standing on his own since before Christmas. It's taken us this long to actually catch some of it on camera, because of the aforementioned love of the camera.

In honor of such an outstanding event, this music video is special. Remember my friend Shameika, who was on the reality show "I want to look like a high school cheerleader again"? Well, she did a special stand up cheer for Little Elvis. And since we had stockpiled some extra footage, we added a little Elton John in there for good measure.

Don't fence me in

Little Elvis has it pretty sweet. He has total run of the living room, and sometimes even the hallway. But that's not enough. He is always looking to broaden his horizons.

Yesterday, he discovered that our doorway gates are malleable. And this discovery merits a music video -- with music from The Doors no less.

Favorite things, musical edition

Little Elvis has lots of favorites. Actually, we all have favorites. I thought that this week, I'd try to do several posts about all of our favorite things.

I realize all babies are different, but I thought some of our favorites might help others.

A big favorite for the whole family is music videos. Without further adieu... "Little Elvis' Favorite Things."

Walk this way

Little Elvis has stopped crying while using his walker. The only things that stop him now are walls and chairs.

And we can't let an accomplishment like that go without a music video.

I think Aerosmith and Run DMC would be proud.

"Jump"ing for joy

It's that time again. Little Elvis has "dropped" another music video.

You might remember his fan favorite, "Rice, Rice Baby" from a few months ago. Since our little musician pretty much mastered early '90s rap, he decided to try his hand at a new genre -- 80s heavy metal.

So "Jump" to it and let him know what you think!

Little Elvis raps!

Little Elvis is quite the talented baby. He's sick of songs about blue suede shoes and hound dogs. Instead he wants to get real with his dawgs.

Bob says he's moving out of the 60s and into the early 90s.

Either way, he's eating big boy food and wants to rap about it. Who are we to stop him?

Fo' shizzle.

By the way, I now realize that my dreams of being a backup singer will never come true. I am truly awful at it. As an excuse, I was holding my sweet baby at the time and that's how I talk when he's staring at me.
